What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking it out this Taylor Made boat bumper. It's gonna be used when you are docking your boat, to help protect it on the dock and the boat side. Let's check it out. The boat bumper's gonna hang from your rail.

And it's gonna be protection between the boat and wherever you put your boat. So if we're going to dock it, you see the dock is right here, the boat's here. This is in the middle. I'm gonna bring in the boat and see there's not gonna be any contact, no loud bang or anything. Just, nice and protected.

Neither side is damaged. It's gonna be made out of a marine grade vinyl, so you don't have to worry about it deteriorating, as you leave in the water. Also has a rib design here, that's gonna help grip when it does go up against a dock or another boat. So that's just another thing to help you. It's got two eyelets on either sides that are already molded.

So whatever side you wanna tie down to and use, you can. Right here, is where you can air it up. You can add a little bit more in there. So if it loses air over time or you just need it to be a little more firm. You can add some more air in with a pump that's sold separately or a regular pump that has the needle attachment.

Polypropylene rope is also included. So that's gonna keep it from snapping or unraveling on you. One thing I really liked that was on there is it's got an eyelet already, a loop ready to go here down at the bottom so you can run the rope back through, up to the top. You only have to tie one knot. The other nice thing is, it's a kit. So you get two of them in pack, that's two ropes and two of the bumpers. Let's go ahead and install the second one. This is our older one, that's on the pontoon boat. We're replacing it today. So we're gonna go ahead and take that off right now. Get this knot undone, and get it removed. Now we're gonna take our rope and run it through the eyelet on our bumper. And then we're gonna run through the loop and the rope itself to get that pulled tighter. There we go. So then you're coming to the back end, of the pontoon boat. We want it about here, try and get it level with the other one. Gonna push it back behind our top rail. Push it between the seat and that rail. Now I kinda of pull up on it And get it level. We need to get a little bit higher. I wanna definitely touching this portion here. That seems about right there. And just tie it off Overall. Really easy to get installed. I really liked that it came in a two pack. I didn't have to buy two separately. I didn't have to cut any rope myself. The rope was included with those eyelets. I thought that was awesome. I could run the rope through itself. I didn't have to tie both sides of it and worry about it. I think they're gonna be great to leave on the boat. My uncle leaves his boat out here at the dock overnight. So when he is done and parking it, he's throwing these out. He wants to make sure it's protected all night. So weather that gets stormy, the water's going up and down, or boats passing by moving his boat, moving the dock.
